IGBees Frequently Asked Questions

Is it safe to use IGBees services for my Instagram account(s)?

Yes, of course. Our bot is highly secured to connect your account(s). Additionally if you follow below instructions, we can guarantee your Insta Account safety:
1-Use a valid and accessible email address for your Instagram account.
2- Complete your profile by adding photo, bio and add at least 5 posts.
3- Make sure your contents are allowed by Instagram.
4- Do Not use several automation services. If you are using any others, turn them off for few days and then use IGBees.
5- If your followers are less than 500, we suggest to use auto liker and turn off comments and follows on targets. Turn them on few days later.
6- Use sufficient number of comments and messages using spin-tax format {**|##|&&}. Create more sensible sentences with spin-tax to have large number of auto comments and messages.
7- For those with multiple account it is recommended to use completely different username and password.
8- Link your profile to your Facebook to increase its safety.

Why IGBees requires my Instagram account password to connect the bot?

IGBees Instagram bot would be your second device. So it needs your password to log in to it. So it needs your Instagram username and password. Be sure that your account password is fully safe in an encrypted database over cloud servers and no one can access it.

If I use your service, will Instagram ban my account?

Connecting your account to IGBees will not ban your account. But after Instagram’s latest update, we strongly recommend keeping the daily human limits of any action and always warm up your page. the limits depend on different factors (such as account age, history of connecting other third-party apps, etc.).

How can I get in touch with you?

You can use our Support Center to find your questions here in FAQ or send your feedback and comments to us using Tickets

I paused all the promotions, but my paid-days are still counting. Why?

Pause all functionality is designed to temporarily stop the bot from doing any interactions on your account. This is useful when you want to do interactions on your side (E.g., using the Instagram app on your phone – because while your account is connected to the bot, it is not recommended to do interactions simultaneously) or for whatever reason, you need to temporarily stop the bot from working on your account.

So, If you want to completely stop the bot and save your remaining paid-days for a while, you must turn-off the bot on your account.

How can I turn the Bot off?

Click on the Paid Days button on the top-center of your dashboard.

In the opened page, There is a button on each of your accounts listed to turn-off the bot on them. You need to click on it and apply the changes to your desired account(s). So, the bot will be turned off for those particular accounts.

Please keep in mind that by turning the bot off, your remained paid-days of that account will be calculated and its amount will be added back to your balance.

I have turned the Bot OFF for my account. How can I turn it ON again?

Click on the Paid Days button on the top-center of your dashboard.

In the opened page, If you have multiple Instagram accounts, choose your desired ones.
Select the services you want to enable for your account(s). (By default all the services are checked, so you can de-select each one you don’t require).
In the next step, specify or choose the number of days you need for those services and click on the apply button. (For example, if you have $10 in your balance, you can check the Instagram Bot service and add 15 days)

If the price of your days for each service become more than the value of your orders total, the apply button will change to checkout and system will redirect you to the payment page.

I deleted my account from IGBees and re-added it. Where are my previous paid-days now?

When you turn-off the bot or delete your account, your paid-days are calculated and its amount will be added to your IGBees account balance.
So, you need to add your paid-days back using your saved balance

How do I know that IGBees is working?

In the Promotion tab of your dashboard, there are some statistic filters of your promotion. Set them as below and click on the apply button:

Status: All statuses
Type: All types
Time: 24 hours

After page loads, look at the coverage number. If it wasn’t zero, it means that your Instagram bot is working.

In case that your coverage number was zero, your account might need a proxy connection.

I have changed my username on Instagram and now I can not login to my IGBees account. What should I do?

If you have changed your Instagram username from Instagram app on your phone, You have two options to get your account back on IGBees:

1. Change your Instagram Username to the previous one using your phone, Login back to IGBees and change your username via the IGBees application. (Recommended)
2. Remove your account from IGBees, Then add it again using your new username. You should know that in this case, all your configurations same as Targets, Filters, Statistics and etc will be reset. So you must define them again.

I do not want to use IGBees anymore and I want to remove any information related to my account. What should I do?

To remove your account, log-in to your IGBees dashboard and click on the “Delete Account” button at the left-sidebar of your screen (Where all your Instagram accounts are listed):

Then confirm your account removal by clicking on the “Delete” button.
After deleting your account, you can be sure that our Instagram Bot won’t do any activities on your account(s), and they will act like a regular Instagram account.
Also, by removing your account, any remaining paid-days on your account will be converted to cash and will be saved into your IGBees account balance.

I cannot add my account to IGBees and it stuck in verification loop. How can i add my account?

First of all, make sure that your account meets the following conditions:

1. You have disabled two-factor authentication on your account.
Here is the process to turn two-factor authentication off:

Go to your profile and tap (iOS) or (Android) in the top-right corner
Scroll down and tap Two-Factor Authentication
Tap Require Security Code to move to the off position
Then tap Turn Off at the bottom of the message that appears
2. You are NOT using any other Instagram services on your account.
3. You are ONLY using your account with your phone. (Terminate all the other sessions you might have)
4. You have completely closed the Instagram App on your phone.
5. You have full access to the email address which you used to sign-up on Instagram.

When you make sure about the above conditions, try again adding your account to IGBees. If it asked for the Verification code, choose Verification by Email, and check your email address for Instagram Verification Code (The email address which you used to sign-up on Instagram, not inevitably your IGBees email). After receiving the code, Enter it on IGBees and add your account.

If it didn’t work, you may try the following solutions:

In this case, please tell us your country and the city which you usually connect to Instagram via your phone. So we will give you a proper proxy and you can try again to add your account using the proxy.

E) Linking your account

We hope you will be able to add your account as soon as possible.

I want to see the statistics of my account(s) activities. How can I do that?

While you are logged-in to your IGBees dashboard, Click on the Statistic button on the top-left side of your screen:

In the opened page, you can see the statistics of all your accounts at one place:

With the help of the filters on this page, you can configure the statistics to see your desired results in different types and times and perform statistic comparisons.

I am using multiple accounts on IGBees. Are there any tips and points that I must follow?

For sure! You must choose different Names, Passwords, Profile pictures, Bio texts, Posts and Captions for each of your accounts.

IMPORTANT: If Instagram finds out that all your accounts are identical, it will BAN ALL OF THEM.

After connecting my account to IGBees, I am receiving "Suspicious Login Attempts" on Instagram App. Why?

Our Instagram Bot connects to your account from a different location and the Instagram app sends you a security warning to notify you about this connection.
Just make sure to press the “This was me” button and ignore it.
Also, once you assign a proxy to your account, this warning may show up again.
So, there is no need to worry about that 🙂

You may also Use Our Local Proxy Application to connect your account(s) to IGBees and bypass such warnings.

When i Login to my IGBees dashboard, I see a Re-Login message. How can i reconnect my account?

If you have changed your Instagram username or password, you need to re-enter your new username/password on IGBees.
Otherwise, when you encountered the Re-Login message, you must log in to your Instagram account using your phone and confirm all the Suspicious Login Attempts on your account by clicking on “This was me” button and Close your Instagram app on the phone.
Then go back to your IGBees dashboard and click on the Re-Login button, Type your Instagram Username and password again (without any changes), and start using the bot.

You may also Use Our Local Proxy Application to re-connect your account(s) to IGBees and bypass any warnings.

I have added another account to my IGBees dashboard, but it does not have free trial. Why?

Free trial days will apply only on the first Instagram account that you connect to our platform.
After testing our services with your first connected account during the trial days, you can decide to add more accounts later.

My free 3-days trial changed to zero-day and I could not use it. What can I do?

Just Submit a Ticket in our Payment category with the title of “Get my trial account back.” Don’t forget to provide us your Email and Instagram account that you used in our App for registration.
We will check your account activity, and if our bot had no interactions with your account, we would restore your 3-day trial.

Address/Postal Code
By clicking on the View details link in front of each payment record, you can view and export your invoice as a PDF file.

Are there any payment options other than PayPal?

Currently, We only support PayPal and there are no other payment methods available. But If your country doesn’t support PayPal, you can contact our support team to find another solution for you.

I have purchased one of your packages, but my account is not activated and my paid days din not change. Why?

When you purchase a package, the amount of it will be added to your account balance. Then you can split it up to each Instagram accounts of yours with custom amounts.
If you just want to add days to a specific account, then go to the Paid-days of that account and buy days. The system will automatically add purchased days to that account and it won’t interact with your balance.

Why am I getting "Your payment was unsuccessful" after I pay using PayPal?

There are some reasons that an unsuccessful payment occurs.
If you paid directly through your PayPal account:
Check the transaction status on your account. It may be on hold, so you can wait until it is complete.
if there was no transaction or it was failed, You can try again.
If you paid using your Credit/Debit card:
First, check your balance, if the money is not taken from your account, you can try again. (make sure you choose USD as currency in your payment when using credit/debit cards.)

How do I save my paid days?

You can save your Paid-days by turning off the bot. By doing so, your remaining days automatically convert to cash and will be added to your balance.

Do you have an affiliate program?

Yes. For more details, you can contact sales@igbees.com

Auto Likes not working on my account. How to make it work?

As you may know, Instagram is counteracting with all the automation apps. They are trying to block automatic interactions for most of the accounts. So, we provide a proxy connection to hide your activities entirely and subsequently keep-on your activities without any problem.

Since recently your auto-activities do not work properly (maximum performance), your account needs a proxy connection to resolve this problem.

We have provided our clients with two solutions:

1. Use Our Local Proxy Application: By installing and using this application on your computer, while your accounts are connected to IGBees and you are NOT USING OTHER PROXIES for your accounts, all the interaction requests from your IG-Bot will be forwarded to Instagram using your own and actual IP address. (Please keep in mind that Instagram has a limit of five account connections per IP, So if you are managing more than five accounts, this app is not a good solution for you.)

2. Purchase a dedicated proxy in your panel: You can purchase proxy from your panel and it will set to your account.

Following activity does not seem to be working or it is very slow on my account. How can I fix this?

If your account was processing the unfollow interactions in the last 24 hours, it is normal if you are experiencing a limited number of following interactions.
While the unfollowing starts, we temporary disable followings. That’s because it doesn’t make sense to run following and unfollowing at the same time and it can put your account at risk.

If that’s not the case, your account needs a proxy connection to resolve this problem.

We have provided our clients with tow solutions:

Can I have interactions with my own followers (submit my own page as a target) ?

Unfortunately, you can’t have activity with your own followers, Because our bot is developed to gain new followers as much as possible. So It will devote your time to new followers and it focuses on interacting with new users to gain more followers.
Although, you can use bulk targets feature and upload a text file containing a list of Instagram page IDs including your own followers and bot will process them for you.

How can I check the statistic of my Instagram Promotion Bot activities in the different period of time?

While you are logged-in to your IGBees dashboard, You can see three different filter options for your account activity statistics inside the Promotion tab. (If you have multiple accounts, make sure you have selected your desired account from the left sidebar.)

Status: Here you can set a different status of your targets for the statistic results. It includes: All statuses, All except deleted targets, Active targets (which bot is currently working on them), Completed targets, Paused or Deleted targets.
Type: Choosing different target types in a statistic which includes:
All types: for all the target types including your Competitor Page targets, Hashtag targets, Locations targets and Custom List targets.
Donor: Normal Competitor Page targets.
Active users: The Competitor Page targets that you have checked the “Only active followers” option for them.
Hash-Tags: Hashtag targets including Lover and Owner hashtags.
Targets: Your Custom List targets which are uploaded in bulk as a text file of Instagram page usernames.
Time: A custom period of time for the statistic results. (We recommend to set it on 24-hours to see better and more accurate results)
After selecting your custom filters, click on the Apply button and wait for the statistic results to be loaded on the page. Results are divided into the following sections:

Coverage: Number of all the interactions that have been made by the bot.
Followers: Number of followers you have gained using the bot.
Average CTR: The ratio of the number of followers that you have gained from your targets to the coverage of that target. This is the most important parameter in Intavast. It helps you find out whether your chosen targets are good enough or not. In order to improve your Instagram growth, you need to observe the conversion of your targets at appropriate time intervals.
Follows: Number of the following interactions that have been made by the bot.
Likes: Number of the auto-like interactions that have been made by the bot.
Comments: Number of the comments that have been posted by the bot.
Viewing stories: Number of the Instagram user stories that have been seen by the bot.
Unfollows: Number of the unfollowing interactions that have been made by the bot.
On each target, you can separately check the number of its Interactions, Coverage and Conversion.

What does skipped mean on my targets and statistics?

The skipped number is referring to the interactions which are ignored by the Bot. The reason behind it is your Filter options inside the promotions settings of your account.

Why my skipped number is very big?

The skipped number is referring to the interactions which are ignored by the Bot. The reason behind it is your Filter options inside the promotions settings of your account.
If you are experiencing big skipped numbers in your statistics, you probably have set your filters very strict.
Although it will result in the best matching followers that you want, it will result in too many accounts getting skipped.
So, you can reconsider them. (Especially if you have set a few languages Because the language is determined based on the description and captions under people posts. By selecting more languages, you can increase the Bot activities for you and decrease its skipped interactions.)
Also, it is possible that skipped interactions belong to some specific targets. In that case, check your targets for their skipped numbers, and if one or some of them had a big skipped number, you might consider replacing them with other ones matching with your filters.

Which "Activity Speed" should I use while using IGBees?

We strongly recommend you to start using the bot with the Slow activity speed and decrease the default limits at the beginning.
Please keep in mind that Instagram will continuously monitor your activity patterns and you should avoid any suspicious behavior.
So, you should warm up your account slowly and keep focusing on the contents of your page. This is very important as the main reason to gain more followers beside all your activities (including manual or IG-Bot activities) is the user’s interest and curiosity in your contents.
After using the bot for a while, (E.g., one or two months), you can change your activity speed from Slow to Normal and increase your limits as mentioned.

I want to increase the Limits of my account interactions. Is there any safety recommendations?

Please keep in mind that there are no official limit patterns for Instagram, a lot of factors come to play here. We’ll mention a few important ones:

Age of Instagram account
Size – Number of followers
Overall engagement (commenting, liking)
Active/inactive accounts
among others.

E.g., Aged Instagram accounts (+3 month) can follow more than new accounts; Accounts with a lot of followers can follow more than those with few followers; Active accounts that also have great engagement also tend to be allowed to follow more than dormant accounts.

Our recommended strategy to begin your Instagram bot:
Following and Unfollowing Limit:
300 – 350/day and 40 – 50/hour for the first week. Then increase those numbers by between 50 – 70/day and 10 – 20/hour every other week until you reach a maximum of 800/day and 100/hour following for your account.
Like Limit:
400 – 450/day and 20 – 30/hour for the first week. Then increase those numbers by between 40 – 50/day and 10 – 20/hour every other week until you reach a maximum of 700/day and 70/hour likes for your account.
Comment Limit:
50 – 100/day and 5 – 10/hour for the first week. Then increase those numbers by between 5 – 10/day and 5 – 10/hour every other week until you reach a maximum of 250/day and 20/hour comments for your account.
Story View Limit:
30 – 50/day and 5 – 10/hour for the first week. Then increase those numbers by between 5 – 10/day and 5 – 10/hour every other week until you reach a maximum of 200/day and 30/hour comments for your account.

We strongly recommend you to start using the bot with the Slow activity speed and decrease the default limits at the beginning.
Please keep in mind that Instagram will continuously monitor your activity patterns and you should avoid any suspicious behavior.

Other useful tips while using IGBees Instagram Bot:
Here we gather best practices for you to get the best results!

1. DO NOT USE any other Instagram Bot platforms
Using multiple Automation Services at the same time can cause to get banned from Instagram.

2. Don’t be greedy
Especially when you start and pay the money for your Instagram Bot service, you want to see fast results! But let’s make this crystal clear .  IGBees’ mission is to bring real followers for you. That means we are picking the exact audience that you tell us to target. Real people are not always on their smartphone; real followers will follow you if they really like your contents.
So, if you put out a lot of content, with proper hashtags, locations, following a content strategy, our automation service will boost and skyrocket your results.

3. Never run out of targets
To get best results, you should know who your target audience is. If you never wanna run out of targets, you should answer yourself the following questions:

Who do you want to have as a follower? ( Fitness people, fashion enthusiasts, Beauty queens, Foodies, etc)
Who will possibly like your stuff? ( E.g., If you are a Yoga-Foodie-Girl, it is possible that other Yoga Foodie Girls like your stuff, too)
Who is your competition? ( E.g., If you are a Landscape-Photographer, target the most popular Landscape Photographers pages on Instagram)
Where are you located? If you have a local business in the US, it doesn’t make sense to target people in Europe. But it makes total sense to target people in your city!
What hashtags are popular in your niche? ( If you are a brand, search for branded hashtags from competitors)
We recommend 15 to 20 active targets. Using Page and Hashtag targets from your competitors have the highest conversion rate. A conversion rate > 10 is good. If its lower than that, change the target or accept it if you are in a specific niche.

4. Let Unfollowing keep your profile special
Instagram has a Limit of 7500 people you can follow. To hide the fact that you are using a bot, the best technique is to have a 50% Ratio .  That means, for example, if you have 4000 Followers, your Unfollowing process should start as soon as you have reached 2000 Followings (Following Threshold in your IGBees Promotion Settings). You can also schedule the unfollow process for a specific time of the day. Altough it is not recommended as it will make a pattern for your unfollow activity.

5. Don’t maximize your limits and activity speed
We developed this service with the goal, to keep your account safe from the risk of getting banned. Therefore you have to show human behavior to Instagram from time to time. One of the most common behaviors is the number of actions per day and hour. Besides that, Our service has three activity speeds, we recommend to use them with care. Slow or Normal are our recommended speeds if you are using the service in the first months.

6. Adjust your automated comments neutral, creative and funny
We will always recommend you to add and update more than 1000 different neutral comments (using spin-tax format) in your settings if you use Autocomment action. Read the instructions here.

7. Answer all your comments.
Think always about the fact, people spend time and energy on your post. You should honor their time in the same way they honor your post! You can also use our Comment Tracker service to manage all your comments inside your IGBees dashboard easily.

What are the differences between target types?

Inside our Instagram Promotion Bot service, you can add four different types of targets for your automatic activities:

1. Followers of an Instagram account (Competitor Page Targets)
Target followers of an Instagram account. Here you can interact with your competitors’ Instagram followers. So, try to find some popular accounts that are similar to yours.
Your content attracts people who have followed those accounts. So they find your page interesting and will probably start to follow you.

Option to Target active followers
Also, To only interact with followers who are usually liking and commenting on the target page, you can check the “Only active followers” checkbox while adding your competitor page target.
It leads to being in touch with engaging Instagram followers. But it will increase the skipped number for that target.

2. Locations
You can add locations such as cities, districts, public places, etc. as a target.
When you choose a location target, the bot interacts with the people who have published Instagram posts in that place.
Geolocation targeting is suitable for the ones who are looking for local Instagram followers.

3. Hashtags
To achieve better results, we have divided hashtag targeting into two different kinds:
Owner: target the users who have used a specific hashtag in their post.
Lovers: target the people who have liked the posts with that particular hashtag.

4. Targets (Bulk Pages)
You can upload a text file containing Instagram username “IDs.”
Then your Instagram Bot will interact with those accounts.
This is the most accurate kind of targeting.
You browse on Instagram and look for your specific audiences. Make a list of their IDs and set the bot to work on them.

What does it mean when a target status is "Completed"?

There are two reasons for a Complete Target state:

If the Coverage number of that target is far less than Followers of that target, it probably means that the connection between Bot and your Instagram account is interrupted, so you must reconnect it by deleting and re-adding your account.
If you have checked the “Skip used accounts” option in your Filters, after a while, depending on the number of followers for that target and the filters you have applied on it, Bot interactions on that target are done.
It means that bot has connected with every person it should and there are no more tasks on this target. So, you can add a new target for your promotions.

Some of my targets are showing "Error" in their status. What does it mean?

The Error status usually shows up on Competitor Page Targets.
The reason behind it is because your target page is private (or it has changed to private) page and therefore, Bot is unable to access its content.
In this case, you can manually request to follow that page to get access to its content with your account. Otherwise, you should replace it with another competitor page target which is public.

Also, If the Error status came upon a hashtag target, it means no posts are using that hashtag, or Instagram has temporarily blocked the hashtag. So, you can replace your current target with another one.

What does "Only active followers" checkbox mean on a Competitors page target?

To only interact with followers who are usually liking and commenting on your desired competitor page target, you can check the “Only active followers” checkbox while adding your target.
It leads to being in touch with engaging Instagram followers. But it will increase the skipped number for that target.

Why does one of my targets have a Green background?

It means the bot is currently working on this specific target and it will usually move to the next target after almost 30 minutes.

It seems that I do not have any active running targets. What should I do?

Please accept our sincere apologies for this inconvenience. It might happen when the network connectivity between our server and Instagram gets lost and no further interaction is possible.

To resolve the problem, please kindly delete your Instagram account from the IGBees app (Hit the orange bin icon at the top-left side of your dashboard, near to your Instagram username) then add it again. This reconnects the bot and resolves the issue.
Also, please keep in mind that by deleting your account, its paid days will transfer to the equivalent money and it would be credited to your balance. So you can use your balance to add paid-days of your desired services again.

What do "Coverage" and "Conversion" mean on a target?

Coverage:
Aggregated number of likes, comments, viewing stories and follows which has been performed on your target with your Instagram bot.

Conversion:
The ratio of the number of followers that you have gained from that target to the coverage of that target.

Conversion is the most important parameter in IGBees. It helps you find out whether your chosen target is good enough or not. In order to improve your Instagram growth, you need to observe the conversion of your targets at different time intervals and replace your targets if it was necessary.

Some of my targets have a big skipped number. Why is that?

I'm using Unfollow scheduling. But it does not work properly. What can I do?

Please make sure you have correctly set your timezone inside your IGBees global account settings. To do so, While you are logged-in to your IGBees dashboard, click on your email address on the top menu and click on the Settings sub-menu. Then navigate to the Common section to set and save your timezone.

Why "Min Following Days" number returns to its default state after I have changed it?

“Min following days” and “Following Threshold” are two parameters that are related to each other. It means when you increase the “Following Threshold” you can also increase “Min Following Days”.
Approximately, for every 1000 increases in the “Following Threshold”, you can add 1 day to “Min Following Days”.

For Example: Following Threshold = 3000 => Min Following Days = 3

The reason behind this is that when you set a low number for “Following Threshold” (Ex., 800) the Bot reaches this number in 1-2 days.
After that, It should stop the following and start the unfollow process, But now all the accounts it has followed were in the last 1-2 days and it cannot comply with a “Min following days” of 3 or 4.

Is it possible to get back the people that were unfollowed by the bot?

Unfortunately, It is not possible.
IGBees is a cloud-based Instagram bot which is hosting and processing many Instagram accounts every day. To enable such functionality, we must implement a huge database and log server for all the accounts and their unfollowing interactions.
So, It would be a really large database with many instantly CRUD actions, which doesn’t have an economic efficiency for us.
But we have implemented a Whitelist option inside your Settings (IGBees dashboard > Promotions Tab > Settings > Unfollow). you can always insert the username of the accounts you wish to never unfollow.

Is it possible to prevent unfollowing people who have followed me back?

Unfortunately, It is not possible.
IGBees is a cloud-based Instagram bot which is hosting and processing many Instagram accounts every day. To enable such functionality, we must implement a huge database and log server for all of our linked accounts and keep monitoring their new followers and comparing them to the previously followed people by the bot.

But we have implemented a Whitelist option inside your Settings (IGBees dashboard > Promotions Tab > Settings > Unfollow). you can always insert the username of the accounts you wish to never unfollow.

I want to keep following the people that were followed manually by myself. How can I do that?

We have an option for our unfollowing process to keep your manually followed people intact. It is called “Keep personal following” and it is checked by default.
You can access your unfollow settings inside the IGBees dashboard > Promotion Tab > Settings > Unfollow.
Also, In the unfollow settings, there is a Whitelist text area that you can use to insert the username of the pages that you want to keep them and prevent the bot to unfollow them. It is useful when for example, Bot has followed some accounts and you have found them interesting. So you want to keep following those accounts and tell the bot to never unfollow them.

The bot is ignoring my unfollow setting and it is unfollowing many more accounts. Why is that happening?

This is most probably happening on the Instagram side and we have had some clients in a similar situation as of 2018. Also, there are many reports from all over the world experiencing the same story.
It may happen because Instagram decides that some followings are not real users and you should not follow them. (and this is very likely to be the truth)
The single recommendation on this situation is to decrease hourly and daily limits of following and change your promotion speed to Slow.

Every time I check my IGBees dashboard, I see the bot is trying to unfollow and it does not work. How can I fix this?

Since almost all your following on this account is from before using our bot, our system assumes they are your “Personal Followings”.
By default, Personal followings cannot be unfollowed using our Bot, So the bot cannot unfollow them for you right now.
To solve this problem, you can go to your IGBees Dashboard > Settings > Unfollow tab, and then uncheck the “Keep Personal Following” checkbox. So, system starts to unfollow 700 (default unfollow number) accounts for you . After running some follow/unfollow cycles, you can check “Keep Personal Following” back again.
Alternatively, you can increase the number of “Following threshold” and let the bot do more following interactions until it reaches the following threshold. This way, it won’t interact with your personal followings and you can keep them.

I have set Unfollow schedule and the bot is ignoring the "Following Threshold" and "Unfollow Number". Why is that happening?

When you enable the “Unfollow Scheduling” option, the bot will start unfollowing based on your defined Unfollow Limits (IGBees Dashboard > Settings > Limits), and it ignores the “Following Threshold” and “Unfollow number” options. (Other settings remain intact)

While the Unfollow is running, I want to insert Comments and Likes. How can I set that?

By default, Except the Auto Comments, Auto Likes and Auto-Viewing Stories are two options enabled when the unfollowing process starts.
It means when the unfollow is running, Bot will also process the auto liking and auto viewing story interactions simultaneously.

To also enable Auto Comments, navigate to your unfollow options inside the promotion settings (IGBees dashboard > Promotion Tab > Settings > Unfollow). Here you can check the Do Comments option and save your settings.

Please keep in mind that to speed up the Unfollowing, we recommend you to disable (uncheck) Do Like, Do Viewing Stories and Do Comment options. Doing so will get all resources to the bot for processing unfollows and will cause to proceed faster.

Why does the Following is disabled when the Unfollow process is running?

The Bot will not process follow interactions while it is running unfollows. Because it doesn’t make sense and it is dangerous for your account to do follows and unfollows at the same time.

Unfollowing speed is very slow. How to increase its speed?

Unfollowing is generally a time-consuming process. But some parameters will affect its speed.
By default, Except the Auto Comments, Auto Likes and Auto-Viewing Stories are two options enabled when the unfollowing process starts.
It means when the unfollow is running, Bot will also process the auto liking and auto viewing story interactions simultaneously.

To speed up the Unfollowing, you can disable (uncheck) Auto Likes and Auto-Viewing Stories options inside your promotion settings (IGBees dashboard > Promotion Tab > Settings > Unfollow). This will get all resources to the bot for processing unfollows and will cause to proceed faster.

Also, If you are not running Unfollow Scheduling, make sure to adjust the Unfollow number between the minimum of 500 and maximum of 1000.
If you set it below 500, it will cause repetitive switches between following and unfollowing and decreases the speed of your interactions. Also, Having an Unfollow number above 1000 is risky and might put a suspicious flag on your account. (especially if your account is new)

And if you have enabled the Unfollow Scheduling, make sure to adjust your Unfollow Limits (IGBees dashboard > Promotion Tab > Settings > Limits) and start and end time ranges correctly. (E.g., 3 Hours).

Why it is better to use the default Unfollow mode insted of Unfollow Scheduling?

We recommend using the Default Unfollowing method instead of Unfollow Scheduling.
That’s because unfollow scheduling is more to be like an auto-activity using a bot than a natural and random activity made by a human.
So, Instagram might put a suspicious flag on your account and limits your unfollowing rate.

Besides that, as unfollowing is a time-consuming process, by using the unfollow scheduling, you are running the unfollow process for a fixed period on a daily basis. It will dramatically decrease other interactions speed (Likes, Comments, Viewing Stories) and will affect your promotions.

So, if you still want to use it, make sure to adjust the start and end time ranges not so long (E.g., 3 hours).

My scheduled posts are being published at the wrong time. How Can I fix that?

Before using the post scheduler service, you must set your timezone inside the setting of your app.
There are two ways to do so:

When you are in the section of selecting your file to be scheduled for publishing, click on the Settings button and adjust your timezone.
From the top-right side of the navigation bar in your IGBees dashboard, click on your Email Address and choose Settings from the sub-menu. In the new page, you can adjust your timezone in the Common section.

I cannot publish my videos using the post scheduler service. How can I fix that?

Instagram limits videos to 60 seconds, so make sure your video is 60 seconds or less. Also, videos need to be at least 3 seconds long or Instagram won’t let us upload them.

Videos don’t have to be to the below specification: however we recommend that if you’re outputting video files specifically for the purpose, keep them close!

Composition Size: maximum width 1080 pixels (height anything, although within the same ratios as images)
Frame Rate: 29.96 frames per second (max 30fps, but should be fixed, not variable)
H.264 codec: MP4
Bitrate: 5,500 kbps up to 7,500kbps bitrate
Audio Codec: AAC audio codec at 44.1 kHz mono (up to 128kbps)
File size: It isn’t specifically limited by Instagram, but we recommend keeping your videos under 50MB.

Finally, If after trying the above solutions you still were unable to post your video, you can always send a support ticket for us and we will troubleshoot the problem for you.

I have set caption (Description) and the first comment on my posts to be published, but they are not inserted. Why is that?

This problem mostly happens on new Instagram accounts or accounts that have less than 6 posts.
We have no control over it and Instagram will not allow such accounts to place the caption or first comment by using third-party APIs.

So, keep warming up your account for a while and publish some posts manually to bypass this limitation.

What is shadow-ban and how to avoid it?

An Instagram Shadowban is when your hashtags become “un-discoverable”.
You can use your hashtags, however, you’ll only show up in hashtag feeds of your current followers.
This means that your images won’t show up in hashtag feeds of anyone who DOESN’T follow you, obviously reducing the reach of your account and making it much harder to reach a new audience.

What would cause an Instagram Shadowban?

Continuously using the same hashtags for extended periods of time:
Instagram might think you’re being a little spammy and it will issue a temporary shadowban for your account.
Using Instagram Banned Hashtags:
Avoiding Banned Hashtags is essential for every Instagrammer.

How do I fix an Instagram Shadowban?

Ease up on Instagram activity for a little while. We’ve seen within 24-48 hours of returning to a normal level of activity, everything returns to normal.
Check your hashtags, are you mixing them up regularly, or are you unaware that you’re using a banned hashtag?

How many comments should I have and add to my comment pool?

You must have many defined comments to avoid temporary bans from posting comments on Instagram. You can NOT post the same comment multiple times (including emoji) and this will certainly result in issuing comment ban from Instagram on your account.
Our default comment templates will generate around 700 comments using the Spintax (spinning syntax) format. So, try to add as many more comments as possible.

How can I add some good comments for my promotions?

You must have many defined comments to avoid temporary bans from posting comments on Instagram.
Our default comment templates will generate around 700 comments using the Spintax (spinning syntax) format.
While you are logged-in to your IGBees dashboard, go to Settings > Comment tab, and try adding more comments using the instruction below:

As already mentioned, messages support the Spintax format.
For example, consider the following message written in Spintax:

{Writing|Creating} {messages|comments} using the Spintax is a {lot of fun|rewarding experience}.

Each of the words or phrases contained with {|} is randomly substituted in the spun message. So for the above example, some of the variations generated would be:

1. Writing messages using Spintax is a lot of fun.
2. Creating comments using Spintax is a rewarding experience.
3. Creating messages using Spintax is a rewarding experience.

And so on for all the combinations possible…

When it needs to post a comment, Our system selects generated messages randomly from all of those variations which are specified by you.

Note 1: You have to create common messages suitable for all photos they will be applied to.
Note 2: Use smiles and emojis in messages (It is also possible to use the emojis with the Spintax) – such messages reduce the risk of getting an Instagram ban.
Note 3: The emojis or comments like “Great pic!” or “Love it!” supposedly now do NOT count as engagement (Including emojis). So, try using 4 words or more!

IGBees is inserting some weird characters at the end of my comments (For example: . .. ... ! !! etc). Why is that happening?

You must have many defined comments to avoid temporary bans from posting comments on Instagram.
To prevent any limitations on posting comments for your account, Our Instagram bot tries to put some characters such as dots, exclamation marks and etc at the end of your defined comments. especially if you have a few comment templates. That’s because you can NOT post the same comment multiple times (including emoji.) and it will result in getting a temporary ban.
You can reduce this behavior of bot, by adding more comment templates inside your promotion settings.

I do not want IGBees to insert comments on people posts. How can I disable comments?

If you don’t want to post comments using your Instagram bot, you should turn it off on every target of your promotions.

After adding a new target, you can turn-off each interaction (Likes, Comments, Follows) on it.

Does the promotions settings apply on Auto Direct Messages too?

No. Promotion settings are related to the Instagram Promotion Bot service.
Auto Direct Message is a separate service that has its own settings.

How many direct messages are sent per hour?

Our Auto Direct Message service is able to send 20 up to 200 direct messages per day (1 – 8 per hour) and it’s different for each account.
There are many parameters affecting this, including account age, the number of following and followers, history of the account, type of link in the bio, engagement rate, etc.
So, the system will detect the best rate for sending DMs on your account and process them automatically.

How can I write a good message template to be sent to my destination targets?

You must have many defined direct messages to avoid sending repeated messages and getting a temporary ban from sending directs on Instagram.
You can create direct message templates for your campaigns using the instruction below:

Messages support the Spintax format.
For example, consider the following message written in Spintax:

{Writing|Creating} {messages|direct messages} using the Spintax is a {lot of fun|rewarding experience}.

Each of the words or phrases contained with {|} is randomly substituted in the spun message. So for the above example, some of the variations generated would be:

1. Writing messages using Spintax is a lot of fun.
2. Creating direct messages using Spintax is a rewarding experience.
3. Creating messages using Spintax is a rewarding experience.

And so on for all the combinations possible…

When it needs to send a direct message, Our system selects generated messages randomly from all of those variations which are specified by you.

Note: Use smiles and emojis in messages (It is also possible to use the emojis with the Spintax) – such messages reduce the risk of getting an Instagram ban.

If I set up two Auto Direct Message Campaigns, e.g. one for current followers and one for new followers, will they overlap and send two messages to one person?

Since you have created “followers” campaign earlier than “welcome” campaign. There won’t be any overlap.

It seems that my direct messages are not being send and they are getting blocked by Instagram. How can I fix this?

Anytime you’re temporarily blocked from sending direct messages on Instagram, It lasts for 24 hours. Usually, every Instagram temporary block will be automatically removed after the 24 hours period.
But you should avoid getting repeatedly temporary blocks as this may put your account at risk. Try to find the reason for the block and fix it as soon as possible.
For example, one of the reasons to get a temporary block on direct messages is sending the same messages multiple times and the fix is to have a wide range of messages defined in your campaigns.

If I have already sent a message to a person, will your Auto DM service send messages to him/her again?

The system will only recognize messages that were sent by itself, and it avoids sending a message to one person twice.
But if you’ve already sent a direct message to a user, It cannot be detected by the bot.
